A sharply pen-drawn display face with blackletter leanings, built from compact, angular forms and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes taper into knife-like terminals and wedge serifs, with frequent broken joins that suggest a broad-nib calligraphy texture rather than smooth continuous outlines. Proportions are relatively narrow and tall in the capitals, while lowercase forms stay tight with a modest x-height and assertive ascenders/descenders. Curves are treated as faceted bowls and hooked strokes, giving counters an irregular, hand-cut feeling and creating an intentionally uneven rhythm across letters and numerals.

Best suited to display settings where its sharp contrast and blackletter flavor can be appreciated—posters, titles, chapter heads, and packaging or labels that want a historical or fantasy tone. It works well for short words and emphatic headings, and can be used in larger text blocks when generous size and leading preserve the internal detail.

The overall tone feels medieval and ceremonial, with a slightly ominous, arcane edge. Its crisp spikes and inky modulation evoke manuscripts, proclamations, and fantasy world-building, reading as historical rather than casual. The texture carries a handcrafted severity that adds drama and theatricality to short phrases.

The design appears intended to emulate broad-nib, manuscript-style lettering with a modern, punchy silhouette—prioritizing atmosphere, texture, and dramatic rhythm over neutral readability. Its forms aim to communicate tradition and intensity through angular construction, tapered terminals, and high-contrast strokes.

Spacing and letterfit appear intentionally lively, producing a textured color in lines of text; at smaller sizes the sharp interior notches and tight counters can darken quickly. Capitals are especially commanding and decorative, while the numerals follow the same cut, calligraphic logic with angular turns and tapered ends.
