A heavy, blocky slab serif with compact proportions and large, squared-off serifs that read as solid rectangles. Strokes are broadly uniform with minimal modulation, producing a dense, dark texture in text. Curves are simplified and sturdy (notably in C, G, O, and S), and joins stay clean and blunt, with occasional small cut-ins that suggest practical, carved or ink-conscious detailing. The lowercase is robust and workmanlike, with short-ish extenders and a strong emphasis on verticals, while figures are wide, bold, and highly legible at display sizes.

Best suited to display applications where bold presence and quick readability matter—posters, headlines, labels, and storefront-style signage. It can also support rugged brand identities and packaging where a sturdy, traditional slab voice is desired, especially when set with generous spacing.

The overall tone is forceful and no-nonsense, projecting durability and authority. Its chunky slabs and compact rhythm evoke vintage industrial printing and collegiate-style signage, giving it a familiar, retro-leaning confidence without feeling delicate or refined.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a dependable, workhorse slab serif silhouette. Its simplified forms, big serifs, and dense color suggest a focus on strong reproduction in print-like contexts and attention-grabbing display typography.

At larger sizes it delivers strong personality and clear letter differentiation; in continuous text the heavy color and tight interior spaces can build a dense texture. The design’s squared terminals and assertive serifs keep edges crisp and rectangular, especially in caps and numerals.
