A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick-to-thin modulation and crisp, tapered finishing strokes. Serifs read as flared and lightly bracketed, often resolving into pointed, wedge-like terminals that give the letterforms a chiseled look. Counters are generally compact and the rhythm is dense, with strong vertical stems and hairline joins that create a refined sparkle in text. The lowercase shows a traditional, readable construction with a two-storey a and g, a sturdy t, and an overall compact, print-like color.

Well-suited to editorial headlines, magazine typography, and brand-led layouts where contrast and refinement are desirable. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with comfortable spacing and at sizes that preserve the hairline details. The dramatic stroke modulation makes it especially effective for covers, posters, and premium packaging where strong typographic voice is needed.

The tone is formal and high-end, pairing classic bookish structure with a more theatrical, fashion-forward edge. Its sharp terminals and glossy contrast give it a confident, headline-ready presence while still feeling rooted in traditional serif typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and sharper finishing, balancing readability with a distinctly display-leaning elegance. It aims to project sophistication and authority while adding visual drama through tapered terminals and crisp modulation.

The uppercase is particularly statuesque, with crisp apexes and tapered diagonals that emphasize a carved, display-oriented personality. Numerals follow the same contrast and shaping, with elegant curves and thin connections that benefit from ample size and clean reproduction.
