This serif shows sturdy, bracketed serifs and softly rounded terminals, with a calm, low-contrast stroke model and moderate modulation. Uppercase forms feel classical and slightly wide-set, with a gently curved leg on R, a traditional G with an inward spur, and a Q featuring a pronounced, sweeping tail. The lowercase has a familiar book-face rhythm: a two-storey a, a double-storey g, a gently angled ear on g, and a j with a curved descender. Numerals appear oldstyle with varying heights and a descending 9, reinforcing a text-oriented, traditional construction.

It is well suited to book and long-form editorial settings where steady color and traditional letterforms are desired. The font also performs well for headlines, pull quotes, and classic branding applications that benefit from a refined, print-native serif tone.

The overall tone is literary and heritage-leaning, conveying a composed, established voice suited to print culture. Its soft curves and restrained detailing keep it approachable rather than ornate, while the classic proportions maintain a formal, trustworthy presence.

The design appears intended as a contemporary, text-first serif that borrows from classical book typography—prioritizing consistent paragraph texture and familiar forms—while incorporating subtle, characterful gestures to keep the voice distinctive in display sizes.

Serif connections are smoothly bracketed, creating even texture in paragraphs and reducing any sharp, edgy feel. The design balances conventional text-face structure with a few more characterful details—most notably the Q tail and the slightly calligraphic curvature in select strokes—adding personality without sacrificing readability.
