A very heavy, high-contrast serif with wedge-like, flared stroke endings and sharply carved interior cuts. The forms read as sculpted rather than written: bowls and counters are smooth and rounded, but repeatedly interrupted by angular notches and triangular incisions that create a faceted, chiseled rhythm. Serifs tend toward pointed wedges and flare-outs instead of slabs, and many letters show pronounced stroke modulation that produces tight apertures and dramatic negative shapes. Spacing appears sturdy and headline-oriented, with distinctive, slightly idiosyncratic widths from glyph to glyph that emphasizes a lively, display texture in words.

Best suited for large-size applications where the carved details and contrast can be appreciated—posters, striking headlines, logotypes, packaging, and short editorial display. It works well when you want a classic serif silhouette with extra drama and personality, and is less ideal for long passages or very small UI text where the tight counters and sharp notches may reduce clarity.

The overall tone is bold and stagey, mixing classic serif authority with a playful, almost poster-like eccentricity. The sharp cut-ins and flared endings give it a vintage, showcard energy—confident and attention-seeking—while the irregularities keep it from feeling formal or bookish.

The design appears intended as a characterful display serif that fuses an incised, flared-serif construction with exaggerated contrast and deliberate cut-in shapes, prioritizing visual impact and a distinctive word image over neutral readability.

In text settings the deep cutaways can create strong internal highlights, which increases visual sparkle but also makes small sizes feel busy. Numerals share the same carved, high-contrast logic, with especially graphic diagonals and wedges that suit titling and emphasis.
