This typeface is a high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, sharp wedge-like serifs, and strongly bracketed joins. Strokes often taper into points or teardrop/ball terminals, giving counters and curves a sculpted, engraved feel. The letterforms mix sturdy vertical stems with lively curved details—seen in the hooked arms and curled terminals—creating a slightly ornamental texture while keeping overall alignment and spacing disciplined. Numerals and capitals appear robust and display-leaning, with distinctive cut-ins and sharp corners that emphasize the font’s chiseled rhythm.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and short passages where its contrast and ornamental terminals can be appreciated. It works well for magazine mastheads, book covers, theatrical or literary posters, and brand marks that want a classic serif voice with extra personality.

The overall tone is authoritative and editorial, with a dramatic, old-style elegance. At the same time, the curled terminals and occasional ball-ended strokes introduce a playful, slightly theatrical flavor that keeps it from feeling purely austere.

The design appears intended to evoke a traditional, print-forward serif model—akin to engraved or display oldstyle forms—while adding distinctive terminal flair for memorability. It prioritizes strong silhouette, contrast, and character for impactful typography in larger settings.

Diagonal strokes (notably in V, W, X, and Y) show crisp tapering and pointed finishes, which heightens sparkle at larger sizes. Round letters (C, G, O, Q) carry a strong contrast and refined inner shaping, and the lowercase includes several distinctive, characterful forms that read as intentionally decorative rather than strictly text-book conservative.
