A heavy display serif with broad proportions, compact internal counters, and assertive, slightly rounded forms. Strokes show clear modulation and pronounced flaring into bracketed serif-like endings, giving verticals and horizontals a sculpted, carved feel rather than a purely mechanical one. Curves are full and weighty (notably in O/C/G), while joins and corners read sturdy and controlled, producing a steady, poster-friendly texture. Numerals and capitals maintain a consistent, blocky presence, and the lowercase keeps a robust, readable build with a distinctly dense color.

Well suited to bold editorial headlines, posters, and cover typography where strong presence is needed. It can also work for branding and packaging that aims for a classic, established feel, and for short bursts of text such as pull quotes, signage, or title treatments where its dense color becomes an asset.

The overall tone is confident and traditional, with a vintage, headline-centric personality. Its weight and flared finishing convey authority and gravitas, while the rounded massing keeps it approachable rather than sharp or austere.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact while retaining serif tradition, using flared, bracketed endings and controlled contrast to create a refined yet forceful display voice.

The design reads best when set with ample spacing, as the thick strokes and small counters can close up at tighter settings. In longer samples it creates a dark, emphatic rhythm that favors emphasis and hierarchy over delicate detail.
