A high-contrast serif with tapered, flared terminals and sharply cut, bracketed serifs that give strokes a sculpted, calligraphic finish. Vertical stems read crisp and authoritative while joins and curves show more delicate hairlines, creating a pronounced thick–thin rhythm. Capitals are stately and somewhat narrow in presence, with clean, slightly wedge-like finishing on horizontals and diagonals. The lowercase maintains a traditional book-face structure with compact bowls, angled stress, and restrained apertures, producing an even, text-friendly texture while still feeling distinctly display-leaning at larger sizes.

Works especially well for editorial typography, book and magazine settings, and sophisticated branding where a classic serif voice is desired. It can support continuous reading, but its contrast and crisp detailing particularly reward larger sizes such as headlines, subheads, and title treatments.

The overall tone is classical and editorial, projecting refinement and tradition with a touch of drama from the strong contrast and flared endings. It feels suited to literary, institutional, and heritage-forward branding—polished rather than playful.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif proportions with expressive flaring at stroke endings, delivering a formal, print-classic impression while adding visual sparkle and a distinctive rhythm in display applications.

In the text sample, the font holds together in paragraphs with clear word shapes, but the sharp serifs and thin hairlines make the personality more pronounced in headings and pull quotes. Numerals follow the same contrast-driven construction, reading formal and print-oriented.
