A heavy, slab-like roman with rounded corners and noticeably rough, uneven edges that mimic ink spread and worn printing. Strokes stay consistently thick with little modulation, while counters and terminals show small bite marks, dents, and soft blobs that create a distressed texture. The letterforms are compact and sturdy with pronounced feet on many characters, yielding a steady, typewriter-like rhythm and consistent spacing across the set.

Works best for short-to-medium settings where texture is part of the message: posters, title cards, product labels, stickers, album art, and editorial spreads that want an analog edge. It can also support themed UI or in-world graphics (notes, evidence labels, signage) where a worn print look helps sell the atmosphere.

The overall tone feels tough and tactile—like text pulled from an old label maker, rubber stamp, or well-used typewriter ribbon. Its imperfect edges add grit and attitude, lending a documentary, handmade authenticity that reads as retro and slightly ominous rather than polished.

This design appears intended to recreate the look of mechanically printed text that has been degraded by time, pressure, or ink saturation. The consistent structure keeps it readable, while the intentional roughness injects personality and a convincingly imperfect, printed-on-paper feel.

In the sample text, the distress remains visible at body sizes without collapsing into noise, but the rough texture noticeably increases visual density in longer paragraphs. Rounded ink traps and softened joins keep the forms from feeling sharp, while the irregular contours add motion and character from line to line.
