A monospaced, slab-serif typewriter face with heavy, blunt letterforms and minimal stroke modulation. The shapes are wide and sturdy, with squared terminals, compact counters, and a slightly uneven edge that reads like ink spread or worn type. Serifs are blocky and pragmatic rather than calligraphic, and the overall rhythm is steady and mechanical despite the deliberate roughness. Numerals match the same robust, workmanlike construction for consistent texture in text and data-like strings.

Best suited to display settings where a strong, tactile typewriter texture is desirable—posters, title cards, packaging, and brand marks with a vintage or industrial angle. It can also work for short editorial callouts or UI labels when a “typed” personality is needed, but the distressed weight makes it more impactful in larger sizes than in long, small body copy.

The font conveys an analog, hands-on tone—part newsroom, part workshop—suggesting typed pages, carbon copies, and worn metal type. Its distressed texture adds grit and immediacy, giving layouts a raw, documentary feel rather than a polished editorial finish.

The design appears intended to capture the mechanical regularity of monospaced typing while adding a worn, printed patina. It prioritizes character and period flavor over pristine geometry, aiming for an authentic, imperfect impression reminiscent of aging hardware and ink on paper.

The intentional irregularity is most noticeable along outer contours and at corners, where edges appear slightly chipped or blotted. In longer passages the dense color and rough details become a prominent texture, making it feel more like a printed artifact than a neutral coding face.
