A high-contrast serif with a pronounced rightward slant and strongly calligraphic construction. Thick vertical stems pair with hairline joins and tapered terminals, producing a crisp rhythm and sharp light–dark patterning. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with angled feet and beak-like finishes on several forms; curves are full and slightly compressed at joins, giving counters a sculpted, ink-trap-free look. Uppercase proportions feel generous and display-leaning, while the lowercase shows lively, asymmetric modulation with a distinctive, single-storey italic "a" and flowing entry/exit strokes that keep word shapes active.

Best suited to headlines, magazine typography, and branding where a refined, attention-getting serif is desired. It can also work for book covers, pull quotes, and upscale packaging, especially when set at larger sizes where its hairlines and sharp transitions remain clear.

The tone is elegant and editorial, projecting tradition with a theatrical edge. Its sharp contrast and sweeping italic energy suggest sophistication, ceremony, and a fashion-forward sensibility rather than utilitarian neutrality.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a conventional text-serif model with heightened contrast and an emphatic italic posture, offering a more dramatic, premium voice for editorial and brand applications.

In text, the strong slant and contrast create an assertive texture that rewards generous line spacing and careful measure. Numerals appear similarly modulated and stylized, aligning with the display character of the letters and reinforcing an overall formal, crafted impression.
