This is a sharply slanted serif italic with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered, calligraphy-driven stroke endings. Serifs are fine and largely bracketed into stems, with many terminals finishing in pointed, wedge-like forms rather than blunt cuts. The rhythm is lively and slightly irregular in a humanist way: counters stay open, curves are generous, and the overall texture alternates between crisp hairlines and sturdy main strokes. Numerals and capitals carry a graceful, bookish posture, while lowercase forms show flowing joins and angled entry/exit strokes that reinforce the italic motion.

It works well for editorial settings such as book and magazine typography, especially for italic emphasis, pull quotes, and elegant headings. The refined contrast and calligraphic terminals also suit invitations, cultural branding, and packaging where a classic, upscale voice is desired.

The font projects a traditional, cultivated tone—more poetic than technical—combining elegance with a gentle warmth. Its italic energy feels editorial and expressive rather than purely decorative, suited to nuanced emphasis and classic typography.

The design appears intended to capture a classic old-style italic feel with clear calligraphic influence—prioritizing graceful movement, refined contrast, and a polished page texture for literary and editorial contexts.

In text, the strong contrast and thin hairlines create a bright, sparkling page color at larger sizes, with noticeable directional movement across lines. The ampersand and other curving forms lean into a handwritten sensibility, while spacing remains relatively even and controlled for continuous reading.
