A heavy slab-serif design with broad, squared forms and compact counters, rendered with deliberately rough, uneven edges and occasional interior nicks that mimic worn metal type or imperfect printing. Strokes are sturdy and mostly monoline in feel, with chunky bracketless slabs and flattened terminals that keep silhouettes blocky and stable. Curves (C, G, O, S) are squared off into rounded-rectangle shapes, and the overall rhythm reads as strongly horizontal, giving the face a poster-like, stamped presence. The numerals follow the same boxy construction, maintaining the distressed texture consistently across the set.

Best suited for short-to-medium display settings where texture is part of the message: posters, title cards, product packaging, badge-style marks, and bold signage. It also works well for thematic pull quotes or section headers when you want a stamped, worn-print effect without sacrificing clarity at larger sizes.

The font conveys a tough, weathered attitude—like ink pressed hard onto paper and then scuffed by time. Its tone is practical and assertive, with a nostalgic, workmanlike character that suggests signage, labels, and rugged branding rather than refined editorial typography.

The design appears intended to combine a sturdy slab-serif foundation with a convincingly aged print texture, creating a dependable display face that feels like it came from vintage hardware, labeling, or industrial printing. The goal is impact and character—strong silhouettes first, with distress adding atmosphere and authenticity.

The distress is integrated into the letterforms rather than appearing as a separate overlay, so the texture remains legible while still feeling authentically rough. Wide proportions and large, open sidebearings in many glyphs help keep forms readable even with the chipped edges.
