A very heavy, high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and pronounced wedge-like terminals. The letterforms show strong thick–thin modulation with tapered joins and bracketed transitions that give strokes a carved, chiseled feel. Counters are relatively compact in the heavier shapes, while curves (C, G, S, O) are broad and smoothly tensioned. The lowercase includes single-storey a and g, rounded ball-like terminals on some strokes, and a sturdy, vertical rhythm that stays crisp even at large sizes.

Best suited to display use such as headlines, posters, book or album covers, and mastheads where its heavy strokes and high contrast can create a commanding typographic voice. It can also work for branding and packaging that aims for a classic, premium impression, especially when set with generous spacing or in short text runs.

The overall tone is assertive and traditional, with a slightly theatrical, vintage editorial flavor. Its bold presence and sharp terminal treatments communicate authority and ceremony, while the rounded terminals add a touch of warmth and personality.

The design appears intended to combine traditional serif authority with a more expressive, sculpted terminal treatment, producing a bold display face that feels both classic and attention-grabbing. Its flared finishes and sharp contrast seem optimized to create strong silhouettes and memorable word-shapes in large sizes.

Numerals are weighty and stylized, with strong contrast and distinctive terminals that match the uppercase. The texture in paragraph settings is dense and impactful, favoring headlines and short blocks where the dramatic modulation and flared finishes can be appreciated.
