A high-contrast serif with broad, sculpted forms and distinctly flared stroke endings that create a carved, tapering feel at terminals. Vertical stems are weighty while joins and hairlines pull thin quickly, producing sharp internal counters and a pronounced light–dark rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and wedge-like rather than blocky, with crisp points on characters such as V, W, and Y, and a slightly calligraphic modulation through curves and diagonals. The lowercase shows a traditional, two-storey a and g with generous bowls and compact apertures, and the numerals match the strong contrast with clear, old-style influence in their shaping.

Best suited to display roles such as magazine headlines, editorial titles, brand marks, and premium packaging where contrast and flare can be appreciated. It also works for short pulls, decks, and large-format posters where its crisp serifs and sculpted terminals maintain impact.

The overall tone is formal and fashion-forward, combining classical bookish authority with a more theatrical, high-contrast punch. It feels refined and premium, suited to statements that want to read as confident and polished rather than casual.

The design appears aimed at delivering a modern, high-contrast serif voice with flared finishing that adds sophistication and visual drama. It prioritizes strong hierarchy and a distinctive silhouette for prominent typography in branding and editorial contexts.

In text settings the heavy verticals and tight hairlines create a striking texture, especially at larger sizes. Curved letters (C, G, O, Q) read as rounded and substantial, while diagonals and terminals add a slightly sharp, tailored edge.
