A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines, weighty vertical stems, and sharply tapered, bracketed serifs that often flare into triangular/wedge-like terminals. The curves are smooth and controlled, with a slightly calligraphic stress that shows up in bowls and the sculpted joins of letters like n, m, and u. Capitals feel formal and well-proportioned, while lowercase forms mix sturdy stems with delicate finishing strokes; the overall rhythm is lively due to pronounced thick–thin transitions and a touch of asymmetric shaping in curves and terminals. Numerals follow the same display-leaning contrast, with elegant, slender connections and assertive main strokes.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, and editorial settings where contrast and detail can be appreciated. It works well for book covers and magazine typography, as well as branding that aims for a classic, cultivated voice; it will be most comfortable when given enough size and spacing for its hairlines and sharp terminals to stay clear.

The font conveys a polished, old-world elegance with a theatrical edge. Its sharp finishing strokes and pronounced contrast suggest sophistication and authority, while the slightly flared terminals add personality that feels more expressive than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to modernize a classical serif model through heightened contrast and distinctive, wedge-like terminals. It balances traditional proportions with decorative finishing strokes to create a font that feels authoritative yet expressive for display-forward typography.

At text sizes the fine hairlines and pointed terminals become a defining feature, giving lines a sparkling texture and strong typographic color changes across words. The design reads as carefully drawn rather than mechanical, with subtle variations in stroke endings that reinforce a crafted, editorial tone.
