A heavy display serif with sculpted, flaring stems and sharply tapered joins that create a chiseled, high-impact silhouette. The contrast is pronounced: thick verticals are paired with hairline connections and pointed wedge-like terminals, producing a crisp rhythm and strong internal whitespace. Curves are compact and tightly tensioned, with frequent teardrop/bulb terminals (notably on lowercase a, c, e, and r) and occasional ink-trap-like notches where strokes meet. Uppercase forms feel sturdy and classical in proportion, while the lowercase shows more idiosyncratic shaping—particularly in the ball-ended i/j dots and the lively, curled descenders on g and y. Numerals are bold and stylized with deep cuts and sharp joins, matching the typeface’s carved, poster-ready construction.

Best suited to headlines, decks, covers, and bold editorial typography where the sculpted details can be appreciated. It can also serve branding and packaging that want a premium, retro-leaning voice; for longer passages it will be most effective in short bursts or large sizes where its tight counters and sharp transitions remain clear.

The overall tone is assertive and theatrical, blending classical serif authority with a fashion-forward, editorial edge. Its flared stroke endings and knife-like transitions evoke vintage display typography and engraved signage, giving text a dramatic, attention-grabbing presence.

The design appears aimed at maximum display impact: combining traditional serif structure with flared, carved terminals and high-contrast shaping to create a distinctive, decorative texture. It prioritizes personality and visual punch over neutrality, making it well-suited to expressive, brand-forward typography.

Spacing in the sample reads compact for such a heavy design, which amplifies its dense, headline character. The distinctive terminals and notches become a defining texture at text sizes, while at larger sizes the cut-in details and flare geometry read as intentional ornament.
