A sculpted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered stroke endings that read as subtly flared rather than blunt. Serifs are sharp and bracketed, with beak-like terminals and triangular joins that give letters a carved, chiseled feel. Proportions are fairly compact with strong vertical emphasis and tight apertures in places, producing a dense, punchy text color. The lowercase shows sturdy, weighty forms with a prominent two-storey “a,” a compact “e,” and a firm, structured rhythm; numerals are similarly heavy and display-like, with clear, angular finishing on strokes.

Best suited for headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and titling where contrast and sharp serif detail can do visual work. It fits magazine and book-cover typography, premium branding, and event or poster graphics that benefit from a classic but forceful voice. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable when sized and spaced to avoid overly dark texture.

The overall tone is authoritative and traditional, with a dramatic, high-impact presence suited to statement typography. Its sharp terminals and sculptural modulation add a slightly theatrical, historic flavor—more declarative than conversational—while still feeling controlled and editorial.

The font appears designed to deliver a bold, traditional serif voice with extra visual bite from tapered, flared endings and sharply cut details. Its intention seems to balance classic editorial credibility with display-level impact, creating a distinctive silhouette that feels both refined and emphatic.

The design leans on pointed terminals and tapered strokes to create crisp word shapes, and it holds up particularly well at larger sizes where the internal counters and bracket transitions are most legible. At smaller sizes, the dense weight and narrow openings can make lines look very dark, so generous leading and careful tracking will help.
