This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with hairline joins and crisp, bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and slightly wide, with sculpted curves and tapered terminals that keep counters open despite the weight. The lowercase has a traditional, bookish structure with a two-storey “a,” a compact “e,” and a flowing “g” whose ear and lower loop add a subtle calligraphic swing. Numerals are sturdy and old-style in feel, mixing strong vertical stems with delicate hairlines and distinctive bowls.

It performs best in display and headline settings where the fine hairlines and dramatic contrast can be appreciated—magazine titles, book covers, pull quotes, and refined brand marks. In longer passages it can work for print-forward editorial layouts when set with comfortable size and leading to preserve its delicate details.
