A condensed, very heavy display serif with a carved, octagonal construction. Stems and bowls are built from straight segments with clipped corners, producing a faceted, chiseled silhouette; curves are largely squared off. Serifs read as small, wedge-like terminals rather than broad slabs, and many joins show notches or ink-trap-like cut-ins that sharpen the rhythm. Counters are tight and rectangular, the x-height sits around the middle of the cap height, and overall spacing is compact, emphasizing verticality and blocky mass.

Best used at display sizes where the sharp notches and faceted corners remain clear. It fits headlines, event posters, sports or club branding, product packaging, and signage where a strong, vintage-leaning presence is desired; it is less suited to long-form text because of its dense weight and tight counters.

The font projects a bold, no-nonsense voice with a heritage sign-painting feel—part frontier poster, part varsity mark, part industrial label. Its angular cuts and dark color create a confident, slightly rugged tone suited to attention-grabbing headlines.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif letterforms through a geometric, cut-corner stencil/woodtype lens, maximizing impact in narrow widths while maintaining a consistent, craft-like texture across caps, lowercase, and numerals.

Uppercase forms tend to be more rigid and architectural, while lowercase introduces occasional distinctive details (such as the multi-stem look of the ‘m’) that add texture without breaking the system. Numerals match the same faceted logic, keeping a consistent, stamped appearance across the set.
