A slanted serif with an oldstyle, calligraphy-informed construction. Strokes show gentle modulation with tapered, slightly wedge-like serifs and mostly bracketed joins that soften transitions into stems. The letters have open apertures and rounded counters, with a lively, slightly uneven rhythm typical of italic text faces. Curves are smooth and slightly diagonalized, terminals tend to be teardrop-like or subtly flared, and the overall color stays even while retaining a hand-cut, pen-driven feel.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, especially for emphasis, quotations, and secondary text where an italic voice is needed. It can also serve in refined print applications such as programs, invitations, and heritage-leaning branding where a classic serif tone is desirable.

The font reads as traditional and cultivated, with a bookish elegance rather than a sharp, modern edge. Its italic slant and soft serif shaping add a sense of motion and warmth, making it feel articulate and a bit ceremonial without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended as a conventional, highly readable text serif with a distinctly italic, humanist character. It prioritizes smooth texture and comfortable reading rhythm while adding expressive, calligraphic cues that differentiate it from purely mechanical italics.

Uppercase forms maintain restrained proportions with clear classical structure, while lowercase shapes are more animated, featuring flowing entry/exit strokes and compact, readable counters. Numerals appear text-friendly and slightly calligraphic, matching the italic energy and keeping consistent stroke endings and serif treatment across the set.
