A decorative serif with extremely thin hairlines and heavier verticals, creating a sharply etched, high-drama rhythm. Stems and bowls are repeatedly pinched and waisted, with concave scoops and wavy modulation that makes counters feel carved rather than smoothly drawn. Serifs are small but flared and blade-like, and many terminals taper to pointed, calligraphic tips. Overall proportions are compact and tall, with tight apertures and irregular interior shaping that gives the alphabet a consistent “cut-out” texture across caps, lowercase, and figures.

Best suited to short display settings where its sculpted forms can be appreciated: posters, title treatments, book or album covers, packaging, and themed event graphics. It works particularly well when you want an eccentric, handcrafted look in a single line or a few words rather than extended reading text.

The tone is mischievous and slightly surreal, like vintage circus lettering filtered through a gothic, storybook sensibility. Its repeated pinches and ripples create a lively, animated cadence that feels intentionally odd and attention-seeking rather than formal.

The design appears intended to inject personality through controlled irregularity—using pinched strokes, sharp tapers, and carved counters to turn familiar serif structures into a memorable, decorative voice for display typography.

Distinctive features include frequent mid-stroke notches, waist-like constrictions in rounded letters, and asymmetric, wiggling joins that keep lines from feeling mechanically straight. Numerals follow the same sculpted logic, with narrow silhouettes and sharp tapers that favor character over neutrality.
