A conventional text serif with bracketed serifs, moderate stroke modulation, and a slightly calligraphic, oldstyle construction. Curves show gentle diagonal stress and softened joins, giving counters a rounded, open feel. Proportions are moderately compact with comfortable spacing; capitals read formal and stable while lowercase forms introduce more rhythm through angled terminals and subtly varied curves. Figures align with the text color and include a distinctive oldstyle-style “3” and a softly contoured “8,” reinforcing the traditional tone.

Well-suited to continuous reading in books, editorial layouts, and magazine text where an established, traditional voice is desired. It can also serve for institutional communications and literary branding, and it scales nicely to headings when a classic serif presence is needed without extreme contrast.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a warm, humanist undercurrent rather than a crisp, high-formality effect. It feels familiar and trustworthy, suited to long-form reading and conservative brand voices without becoming rigid or overly academic.

The design appears intended as a dependable, general-purpose reading serif: traditional in structure, moderately modulated for comfortable text color, and shaped with subtle humanist details to keep texture lively in paragraphs.

Several letters show gently tapered terminals and slightly irregular, pen-influenced shaping (notably in the lowercase), which adds texture at larger sizes. Italic is not shown, but the roman already carries a mild liveliness through its curves and terminal angles, keeping paragraphs from looking mechanical.
