This typeface pairs broad, weighty verticals with sharply tapered joins and wedge-like, flaring stroke endings. Contrast is pronounced: thick stems and bowls are countered by hairline connections and needle-thin entry/exit strokes, creating a lively, high-impact rhythm. Serifs read as pointed, triangular wedges rather than flat brackets, and terminals often finish in blade-like tips. The overall texture is compact and dark at display sizes, with clear, crisp counters and a slightly calligraphic stress that shows up in letters like C, S, a, and e.

Best suited to display settings where its high contrast and flared, wedge-like finishing can be appreciated—magazine headlines, poster titles, book covers, and brand marks. It can also work for short editorial subheads or pull quotes where a strong, classic voice is desired, but it will be most comfortable when given room and size.

The tone is theatrical and editorial, mixing classical serif authority with a slightly flamboyant, cut-stone sharpness. It feels premium and headline-forward, with an energetic, almost poster-like snap that suggests tradition but avoids softness.

The design appears intended to deliver a refined serif presence with heightened drama: traditional proportions and recognizable letterforms, amplified by strong contrast and flaring endings for impact. It aims to read as authoritative and cultured while remaining visually distinctive in contemporary display typography.

Curved letters show strong modulation and sculpted interiors, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) feel taut and emphatic. The numerals follow the same dramatic contrast, with distinctive, pointed terminals that keep figures from feeling neutral. In text blocks, the font produces a bold, patterned color with crisp word shapes and strong emphasis on capitals.
