A serifed text face with calligraphic influence, featuring gently flared strokes, wedge-like serifs, and visibly irregular contours that resemble worn printing or dry-ink texture. Letterforms are compact and slightly condensed, with a modest x-height and relatively tall ascenders that give the lowercase a quaint, bookish profile. Strokes show mild thick–thin modulation and soft, imperfect terminals; spacing and widths vary slightly across glyphs, creating a lively, imperfect texture in paragraphs.

Well-suited for titles and short passages in fantasy or historical packaging, book covers, editorial pull quotes, and themed posters where a period or folkloric tone is desired. It can work for body copy at comfortable sizes when the texture is meant to be part of the voice, and it performs especially well in black-on-light applications that emphasize its worn, inked edges.

This face projects a literary, old-world mood with a touch of handmade imperfection. The roughened outlines and uneven rhythm add a subtly eerie, storybook flavor that can feel historical, mysterious, and a little ominous without becoming overtly decorative.

The design appears intended to evoke an antiquated printed page with human, analog irregularity rather than modern precision. Its controlled serif structure supports continuous reading, while the distressed edges and slight inconsistency are used to add atmosphere and a sense of age.

In the sample text, the distressed detail remains consistently visible across sizes, and the overall rhythm stays readable while retaining a deliberately imperfect baseline and edge quality. Numerals and capitals share the same worn treatment, helping the font maintain a cohesive, aged texture across mixed typography.
