A decorative serif with sharply flared, triangular terminals and a subtly chiseled, hand-drawn finish. Strokes show mild modulation and frequent wedge-like serifs that feel cut rather than bracketed, giving many letters a spiky silhouette. Curves are slightly lopsided and the rhythm is intentionally uneven, with varied character widths and a lively, jittered baseline impression in text. Counters tend to be compact and organic, and several capitals carry distinctive angled joins and pointed feet that emphasize the cut-paper look.

Best suited to display typography such as book covers, poster headlines, theatrical titles, and fantasy or historical-themed branding. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when a textured, illustrative voice is desired, but its deliberately irregular rhythm makes it less appropriate for dense, utilitarian body copy.

The face reads as mischievous and folkloric, combining medieval display cues with a light, playful energy. Its irregularities and sharp serifs create a crafty, handmade tone—more fairytale or fantasy than formal literature. In longer lines it feels animated and characterful, prioritizing personality over quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to evoke hand-cut or calligraphic letterforms translated into a print-like serif, delivering a distinctly decorative voice. It aims to provide strong, recognizable silhouettes and a themed atmosphere, supporting expressive titles and branded text where personality is the primary goal.

Capitals are especially expressive, with prominent wedge serifs and occasional exaggerated diagonals that make initials and short words stand out. Numerals echo the same hand-cut logic, with curvy forms and pointed terminals that keep the set visually cohesive. The overall texture in paragraphs is dark and lively, with strong silhouettes that hold up well at display sizes.
