A narrow, lightly condensed serif with a distinctly rough, ink-worn texture throughout. Strokes show uneven edges and occasional blobbing at terminals, creating a printed-from-type or distressed letterpress feel rather than clean digital outlines. The serifs are small and somewhat blunt, with subtly tapered strokes and modest contrast; counters stay fairly open for the style, while curves (C, G, O, Q) read slightly irregular and hand-inked. Overall rhythm is compact and upright, with a relatively low x-height that gives lowercase a more classic, bookish proportion.

Works well for editorial display and short-to-medium passages where an antique print texture is desirable, such as book covers, pull quotes, or museum/heritage-themed materials. It can also add character to posters, labels, and packaging that benefit from a handcrafted or letterpress-like voice, especially at sizes large enough for the distressed edges to read intentionally.

The font conveys an aged, tactile character—like ink on porous paper—balancing readability with a weathered, analog personality. Its tone feels archival and human, with a quiet grit that suggests old books, posters, or utilitarian print ephemera rather than slick contemporary branding.

The design appears intended to recreate the look of traditional serif type that has been printed, handled, and reprinted—retaining familiar proportions while adding controlled wear and ink irregularity for atmosphere.

In running text the texture is consistent enough to hold together, but the irregular stroke edges create lively sparkle and a slightly noisy color on the page. Numerals and caps share the same worn perimeter treatment, helping headlines and small caps-style settings feel cohesive across mixed content.
