A sculptural serif with strongly tapered, flared stroke endings and crisp wedge-like serifs that give many terminals a cut, chiseled feel. Strokes show pronounced contrast, with hairline connections and substantial main stems, and bowls often feature triangular notches that read like ink-trap-inspired cut-ins. The design leans wide in many capitals and rounds (notably C/O), with tight interior counters and energetic, angular joins. Lowercase forms keep a familiar oldstyle-influenced silhouette but are stylized by the same sharp terminals, compact apertures, and high-contrast modulation; punctuation and numerals carry the same bold, poster-ready presence.

Best suited to display roles where its sharp modulation and flared terminals can read cleanly: headlines, magazine covers, fashion/editorial layouts, and brand marks. It can also work for short pull quotes or packaging copy when generous size and spacing are available to preserve counters and interior detail.

The overall tone is assertive and theatrical, mixing classic bookish authority with a modern, fashion-forward edge. Its high drama comes from the stark light–dark rhythm and the blade-like terminals, which create a confident, premium voice. The cut-in details add a slightly quirky, crafted character that keeps it from feeling purely traditional.

The design appears intended to deliver a premium, attention-grabbing serif voice by combining traditional proportions with exaggerated contrast and distinctive carved terminals. The recurring cut-in shapes suggest a deliberate effort to create memorable silhouettes and a strong page color for impactful typographic statements.

In text settings the dense color and tight counters make the texture feel punchy and compact, with strong vertical rhythm. The ampersand is bold and decorative, and several glyphs (such as S, a, e, and the numerals) emphasize distinctive triangular cut-ins that become a signature motif at display sizes.
