A dense, block-constructed slab serif with a compact footprint and strong vertical emphasis. Strokes are built from heavy rectangular stems paired with pronounced slab terminals, then carved with deep, consistent interior notches that create a stencil-like negative space throughout the alphabet. Curves are simplified into rounded rectangles (notably in C, O, Q) and counters are often squarish or pill-shaped, giving the design a mechanical, cut-out feel. The rhythm is tight and modular, with small apertures and sharp inside corners that amplify the impression of deliberate “carving” and contrast between solid mass and internal voids.

Best suited to display typography where its notched slabs and dense silhouettes can read as intentional detailing—headlines, poster work, packaging, labels, and branding marks. It can also work for short, punchy signage or editorial pull quotes, but the tight apertures and heavy interior carving suggest avoiding very small text sizes.

The overall tone is bold and attention-grabbing with a distinctly retro-industrial flavor. The repeated notches and chunky slabs add a playful, gadget-like character—part old poster lettering, part machine-cut signage—making it feel energetic and slightly eccentric rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to merge slab-serif structure with a constructed, cut-out aesthetic, emphasizing bold shapes and consistent internal “bites” to create personality and strong visual branding. Its controlled geometry and repeated negative-space motifs suggest a focus on distinctive texture and instant recognizability in display settings.

The distinctive mid-stem cut-ins and stepped joins become a primary motif across both capitals and lowercase, helping maintain cohesion at display sizes. Numerals follow the same block-and-notch system, and rounded forms (0, 8, 9) retain generous black mass with neatly contained counters, reinforcing the font’s strong silhouette.
