A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stems and hairline connecting strokes, producing a crisp, carved look at display sizes. Serifs are sharply defined with a wedge-like, lightly bracketed feel, and curves show clear vertical stress. Counters are relatively tight and the overall rhythm reads compact, with sturdy capitals and slightly more calligraphic movement in the lowercase. Terminals often finish in pointed or ball-like forms (notably on letters such as a, c, f, j, r, and y), adding sparkle against the heavy main strokes.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, covers, and editorial layouts where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for premium branding and event materials that benefit from a classic, authoritative voice; for dense body copy, generous size and spacing will help preserve clarity.

The tone is traditional and emphatic, pairing a classic bookish foundation with a more theatrical, high-fashion snap. It feels confident and ceremonial, suited to language that wants weight and presence rather than neutrality.

The design appears aimed at delivering a conventional serif reading voice with heightened contrast and sharpened detailing for display impact. It balances familiar proportions with dramatic stroke modulation and distinctive terminals to create a more emphatic, attention-holding texture.

At larger sizes the thin hairlines and sharp joins create a refined, engraved impression, while the dense texture can feel forceful in longer passages. Numerals and capitals carry the strongest impact, and the lively terminals in the lowercase add character without tipping into ornament.
