A sculpted serif with strong vertical stress and sharply tapered serifs that read as wedge-like with subtle bracketing. Strokes move between thick main stems and hairline joins, creating crisp internal counters and pronounced notch-like joins in letters such as K, M, N, and W. Terminals often finish in rounded, ball-like or teardrop forms (notably on J, a, f, g, y, and several numerals), adding a distinctive ornamental snap to an otherwise traditional structure. The lowercase shows compact, sturdy bowls with tight apertures, while numerals are bold and curvy with prominent contrast and rounded finishing details.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and book display typography, and branding where a classic serif voice needs extra punch. It can work well on posters and packaging where dramatic contrast and distinctive terminals help create a memorable typographic signature. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable when given generous size and line spacing to preserve the fine hairlines and tight apertures.

The overall tone is authoritative and high-impact, with a classic, editorial polish. Its sharp serifs and dramatic contrast convey formality and tradition, while the rounded terminals add a slightly theatrical, vintage flavor. The result feels confident and attention-grabbing rather than quiet or purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to modernize a conventional serif model by amplifying contrast and sharpening serif geometry, while using rounded terminals to create a recognizable, characterful finish. It aims to deliver a traditional editorial feel with heightened visual drama for display-led typography.

Spacing appears comfortable at display sizes, with a rhythm driven by heavy verticals and crisp hairlines; the pointed joins and deep ink traps/notches become a defining texture in words. The ampersand and the curving forms in Q, S, and 2–9 reinforce a decorative, headline-forward personality.
