A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly calligraphic, slightly irregular stroke edge that suggests ink texture. Serifs are bracketed and relatively sharp, with tapered terminals and occasional flick-like finishing strokes that keep the silhouette lively. Counters are compact and letterforms feel tall and economical, while the overall rhythm remains smooth and readable in continuous text. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with curving forms and delicate joins that match the text face character.

Well suited for book and magazine typography where an expressive italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, captions, or pull quotes. It can also serve effectively in refined invitations, programs, and other formal print materials that benefit from a classic, crafted tone.

The font reads as literary and traditional, with an old-world, bookish tone. Its energetic italic movement and inked texture add warmth and personality, giving it a crafted, editorial feel rather than a purely mechanical one.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, humanist reading experience with a strong italic presence—combining high-contrast elegance with a subtly hand-worked texture to keep the page color engaging and distinctive.

In the sample text, the texture is slightly uneven in a way that enriches large sizes and short passages, while the high contrast and fine hairlines may ask for adequate size and printing/rendering conditions to avoid dropouts. The italic construction is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures, maintaining a cohesive forward motion.
