A sturdy slab serif with pronounced, mostly bracketed slabs and a clear, mechanical rhythm. Strokes show moderate contrast, with strong verticals and slightly lighter horizontals, and terminals often end in squared, blocky serifs with softened joins. Counters are generous and shapes are broadly proportioned, giving the face an open, wide-set feel; curves (O, C, G) are round and smooth while joins and serifs keep the overall silhouette firm. The lowercase includes single-storey forms (notably a and g) and short, sturdy extenders that reinforce a compact, workmanlike texture in text.

Well-suited for headlines, subheads, and short passages where a strong typographic voice is needed, such as editorial layouts, posters, and packaging. The sturdy slabs and open counters also make it a good candidate for labels, wayfinding, and branding systems that want an industrial or heritage-inflected presence.

The font conveys a bold, no-nonsense tone with a hint of vintage printing and engineered signage. Its heavy slabs and steady cadence feel reliable and institutional, while the rounded bowls keep it approachable rather than harsh. Overall it reads as confident, practical, and slightly nostalgic.

The design appears intended to blend classic slab-serif authority with practical legibility: bold serifs for impact, moderate contrast for structure, and rounded curves to keep the tone friendly. It’s built to hold up in prominent settings while maintaining a consistent, workmanlike texture in running lines.

In the sample text, the dark slabs create a strong baseline and a consistent horizontal emphasis, producing a dense but readable color at display and subhead sizes. The numerals share the same robust, squared-off logic, supporting utilitarian applications where clarity and impact matter.
