A bold, display-oriented serif with sharp triangular/wedge serifs and pronounced stroke contrast. Curves swell into heavy bowls that taper into thin hairlines, giving letters a sculpted, ink-trap-like sparkle at joins and terminals. The lowercase shows compact, sturdy forms with a two-storey “a” and “g,” while several letters feature expressive, hooked terminals and brisk, angled cuts that add motion without becoming fully script-like. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, wedge-serif construction, with strong vertical stress and crisp, pointed finishing strokes.

Best used for headlines, magazine/editorial titling, posters, and brand marks where strong contrast and wedge serifs can carry a sophisticated, dramatic voice. It also works well on packaging or pull quotes when set with ample size and spacing so the fine hairlines and sharp terminals remain clear.

The overall tone feels assertive and theatrical—classic in its serif pedigree but pushed toward a decorative, headline voice. The sharp wedges and dramatic contrast create an impression of prestige and intensity, suited to messaging that wants to feel authoritative and stylized rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional serif foundation with heightened contrast and sharpened, decorative terminals for impact. Its letterforms prioritize personality and presence, aiming for an elegant yet emphatic display texture rather than quiet, continuous reading.

Wide bowls and generous internal counters help the heavy weight stay readable at larger sizes, while the thin hairlines and sharp terminals can visually break up in very small settings. The rhythm is energetic, with noticeable flare and curvature in strokes that gives text a lively, slightly vintage display character.
