A lightly built serif with an old-style, hand-printed feel and intentionally uneven stroke edges. The letterforms are slender and mostly upright, with modest bracketed serifs that look softened by wear and ink spread rather than crisply cut. Strokes stay fairly even in thickness, while the outlines wobble subtly and terminate in blunt, slightly frayed ends, creating a textured rhythm across words. Spacing reads a bit irregular, and the figures and lowercase show the same roughened perimeter, reinforcing a consistent, weathered printing character.

Well suited for display typography where texture is a feature: book and game titles, posters, chapter heads, menus, labels, and themed packaging. It can also work for short passages or pull quotes when set large enough to keep the worn details from closing in.

The overall tone suggests age, tactility, and a touch of the uncanny—like text pulled from a battered paperback, a potion label, or an archival broadside. Its irregular edges and handmade cadence give it warmth and personality, with a mildly eerie, folklore-leaning flavor when set in longer lines.

The design appears intended to evoke aged print and imperfect production—combining traditional serif construction with deliberately roughened outlines to simulate worn type, ink bleed, or distressed stamping. The goal is a characterful, period-tinged voice that feels handmade and atmospheric rather than pristine.

In running text, the distressed contours create noticeable grain that becomes part of the color of the paragraph, so it rewards larger sizes and generous leading. The narrow proportions and slightly inconsistent widths add a lively, imperfect cadence that reads more “found” than polished.
