A compact serif with irregular, worn contours and softly blunted terminals that mimic uneven inking. Strokes show subtle modulation and occasional swelling, with small bracketed serifs and slightly flared ends that keep the texture consistent across the alphabet. Counters are generally open but not pristine, and curves look slightly lumpy, giving the face a hand-impressed, imperfect rhythm. Spacing feels moderately tight and the overall color is dark, with the distressing creating a lively, broken edge rather than large internal gaps.

Best suited for display and short-to-medium text where texture is an asset: posters, book or album covers, editorial heads, period-themed packaging, and brand marks that want an analog, timeworn finish. It can work in larger body sizes for atmospheric copy, but the distressed edges will be most legible and impactful at moderate-to-large sizes in print or high-resolution digital use.

The font conveys an aged, tactile tone reminiscent of printed ephemera, bookwork, and signage that has seen use. Its roughened silhouette reads as authentic and analog, suggesting history, craft, and a touch of grit rather than refinement. The overall impression is familiar and literary, with a subtly dramatic, antique character.

The design appears intended to reproduce the look of worn letterpress or aged print, combining a traditional serif skeleton with deliberately imperfect outlines. Its consistent distressing and compact proportions aim to deliver a vintage, handmade texture while keeping the underlying letterforms familiar and readable.

Uppercase forms feel sturdy and slightly theatrical, while lowercase keeps a readable, text-forward structure despite the surface noise. Numerals match the same worn treatment and maintain a traditional, oldstyle-leaning feel in their proportions.
