A sharply cut display serif with extreme thick–thin modulation and hairline serifs, built around crisp vertical stress and clean, upright structure. Stems and bowls are consistently split by a narrow inline cut, creating a carved, hollowed highlight that runs through both straight strokes and curves. Capitals feel broad and stately with generous internal space, while lowercase maintains a traditional serif skeleton with a moderate x-height and slightly calligraphic terminals. Numerals echo the same high-contrast model, with elegant curves and thin joins that emphasize a polished, engraved look.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, mastheads, fashion/editorial layouts, premium branding, and packaging where the inline cut can be appreciated. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes when set with ample size and spacing, and when production conditions support fine hairlines.

The inline carving and dramatic contrast give the face a couture, editorial tone—confident, upscale, and theatrical. It reads as formal and curated, with a boutique sensibility that suggests luxury packaging, magazine typography, and event branding.

Designed to reinterpret a classic high-contrast serif through an engraved inline treatment, adding decorative depth without introducing heavy ornament. The goal appears to be a statement typeface that feels traditional in structure but elevated by a distinctive interior carving for premium display use.

The inline detail becomes a key visual feature at larger sizes, where the cut lines read as deliberate engraving; at smaller sizes the hairlines and internal cuts can visually soften or fill in depending on reproduction. Overall rhythm is crisp and vertical, with a refined sparkle from the thin strokes and the repeating interior highlight.
