A high-contrast serif with vertical stress and lively, inked contours. Stems are weighty and rounded, while connecting strokes and interior joins narrow quickly, creating a punchy light–dark rhythm. Serifs are small and flared with soft, bulb-like terminals rather than sharp wedges, and many joins show subtle notches and narrowing that feel like ink traps or stamped impression. Counters are compact and slightly irregular, with a generally upright posture and gently varied widths that give the alphabet a lively, non-mechanical texture.

Best suited to display sizes where the contrast and soft terminal details can be appreciated, such as headlines, posters, book covers, and packaging. It can also work for short text blocks or pull quotes when set with comfortable tracking and ample leading, especially in editorial or heritage-flavored branding.

The overall tone is vintage and theatrical, with a storybook warmth and a hint of old print ephemera. Its crisp contrast reads formal at a glance, but the softened terminals and slightly quirky curves add charm and approachability rather than austerity.

The design appears intended to blend classic high-contrast serif structure with a more human, printed feel—softening edges, adding slightly irregular contours, and emphasizing a strong black presence for attention-grabbing display typography.

Capitals feel sturdy and poster-ready, while the lowercase introduces more character through bouncy shapes and distinctive terminals (notably in letters like a, g, r, and s). Numerals are bold and display-oriented, with rounded forms and noticeable stroke modulation that matches the text alphabet.
