A very heavy display serif with strong contrast and sharply flared, wedge-like serifs. Strokes are broad and sculpted, with distinctive diagonal “slices” and teardrop/leaf-shaped counters appearing in round letters like C, O, Q, and 0, creating a carved, stenciled-in feel without true stencil breaks. Many joins resolve into pointed beaks and triangular notches, and several lowercase forms show lively, calligraphic terminals (notably a, e, f, s) that give the alphabet a slightly irregular, hand-cut rhythm while remaining clearly upright and legible at larger sizes.

Best suited to display settings where its internal cutouts and high-contrast shaping can be appreciated—posters, headlines, event promotion, and statement packaging. It can also work for logotypes or short brand phrases where a distinctive, vintage-leaning serif presence is desired, but it is less appropriate for dense body text.

The overall tone is bold, theatrical, and slightly mischievous—more cabaret poster than bookish classic. Its ornamental cuts and swirling internal shapes add a sense of motion and drama, giving headlines a vintage, showcard energy with an eccentric twist.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif silhouette into a bold, decorative display style by introducing carved counters, wedge serifs, and calligraphic terminal gestures. The goal is a strongly branded look that reads quickly while delivering a memorable, ornamental texture in large sizes.

Uppercase proportions feel compact and authoritative, while the lowercase introduces more personality through looped bowls and expressive terminals, increasing the perceived variability across the line. Numerals echo the same sliced-counter motif (especially 6, 8, 9, and 0), helping text and figures maintain a consistent decorative voice.
