This serif has a delicate, high-contrast build with tapered stems and softly bracketed, flared serifs that give strokes a gently written feel. Curves are generous and slightly irregular in a humanist way, with noticeable modulation through bowls and diagonals. Uppercase forms are broad and poised, while lowercase shows compact vertical proportions with a modest x-height, producing a pronounced ascend/descend rhythm. Spacing reads open and even in text, and the figures follow the same refined, slightly calligraphic stroke behavior.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial settings where a classical texture and comfortable reading rhythm are desirable. The expansive capitals and elegant stroke contrast also make it effective for chapter heads, pull quotes, and cultured branding or packaging that benefits from a traditional, humanist voice.

The overall tone is classic and literary, combining elegance with an approachable warmth rather than a rigidly formal feel. It suggests traditional print typography—measured, calm, and articulate—while the subtle calligraphic cues keep it from feeling mechanical.

The design appears intended to reinterpret old-style, calligraphic serif conventions with a lighter, more delicate color and spacious proportions. It aims for a balance between text readability and a refined presence for headings, emphasizing warmth, tradition, and typographic polish.

The italic is not shown; the samples present a consistent roman with lively stroke endings and a slightly organic baseline rhythm. The face maintains clarity at text sizes while preserving a distinctly refined, display-capable character in the capitals and numerals.
