A powerful serif with broad proportions, heavy verticals, and pronounced stroke contrast. Stems and terminals broaden into flared, wedge-like finishes, giving many letters a carved, sculptural feel rather than crisp slab endings. Serifs are strongly bracketed and often triangular, with sharp beaks and tapered joins that create energetic entry and exit strokes. Counters are relatively compact against the mass of the strokes, while the overall rhythm stays steady and upright with a classic, print-oriented texture.

Best suited to display sizes where its contrast and flared detailing can be appreciated—headlines, editorial titling, posters, and book jackets. It can also support brand marks and packaging that benefit from a heritage, premium voice, while long body text may feel dense due to the weight and compact counters.

The tone is bold and declarative, with a traditional, old-world sensibility that reads as formal and institutional. Its flared terminals and high-contrast modeling add drama and ceremony, suggesting heritage, gravitas, and editorial authority rather than casual friendliness.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with extra theatricality, using flared, widening terminals and sculpted transitions to amplify presence. It aims to combine traditional editorial credibility with a more monumental, attention-grabbing silhouette.

The lowercase shows a sturdy, compact build with distinct, sharply cut terminals (notably on a, t, and r) and a strong emphasis on vertical stress. Numerals appear heavy and display-oriented, with clear silhouette differentiation and a consistent, chiseled terminal treatment that matches the letters.
