A heavy, block-built sans with pronounced internal cut-ins that read like ink traps or stencil notches, creating sharp white interruptions in otherwise solid strokes. The letterforms are squarish and wide-set with mostly straight verticals and horizontals, softened by occasional rounded outer corners. Contrast is expressed through abrupt thinning and razor-like joins in diagonals (notably in K, V, W, X, Y), while bowls and counters stay compact and geometric. Overall spacing feels sturdy and deliberate, with dense rhythm and strong silhouette clarity at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines and short display copy where the bold mass and cut-in detailing can be read clearly. It works well for posters, branding marks, packaging, and signage that need a tough, industrial presence. In longer paragraphs the dense black weight and interior interruptions may feel busy, so it’s strongest when used large with generous leading.

The tone is assertive and mechanical, mixing utilitarian signage energy with a retro, poster-era boldness. The cut-in details add a gritty, engineered feel—suggesting durability, impact, and a slightly aggressive edge rather than friendliness or refinement.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through a broad, blocky silhouette while using internal cut-ins to prevent shapes from clogging and to add distinctive character. The goal seems to balance rugged legibility with a signature, engineered texture that remains consistent across the alphabet and figures.

Distinctive internal notches appear repeatedly across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, giving the design a cohesive “carved” texture. Numerals follow the same block logic with tight counters and strong horizontals, keeping tabular-like stability in mixed text. In longer settings, the internal cuts become a key texture element, increasing sparkle and separation between strokes.
