A blackletter-inspired display face built from tall, narrow forms with sharp, thorn-like terminals and frequent knife-edged tapers. Strokes swing between thick stems and hairline flicks, creating a chiseled, high-drama rhythm, while many letters show angled cuts, hooked spurs, and pointed entry/exit strokes. Curves (notably in C, O, and lowercases like e) are tightened and irregularized to feel carved rather than smoothly drawn, and the overall spacing reads compact with a lively, uneven texture. Numerals echo the same calligraphic bite, with slanted, angular shaping and brisk, pointed endings.

Best suited to display settings where a dark, gothic atmosphere is the goal: horror titles, metal or darkwave album covers, haunted-event posters, game branding, and dramatic chapter or section openers. It works most convincingly at larger sizes where the spurs, cuts, and tapered details remain clear.

The tone is dark and ritualistic—more spellbook than newspaper—projecting menace through spikes, abrupt cuts, and tense, compressed proportions. It suggests horror, gothic fantasy, and occult symbolism, with a handcrafted edge that feels deliberately unsettling rather than ornamental.

The design appears intended to modernize blackletter with an overtly sinister edge—using thorny terminals, abrupt stroke breaks, and tightened bowls to push the style toward horror and occult themes while retaining recognizable letter structures for headline use.

Uppercase forms are especially theatrical, with exaggerated hooks and interior notches that add emblem-like character in headings. The lowercase maintains a tighter, more readable gothic skeleton but still carries sharp terminals and irregular contours, so the texture stays aggressive even in longer lines.
