A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced vertical stress and sharply tapered hairlines. Strokes move from strong, rounded thick parts into very thin connecting strokes, with crisp, narrow serifs and pointed terminals throughout. The italics feel calligraphic rather than mechanically slanted, with lively entry/exit strokes, a single-storey italic “a,” and flowing lowercase forms with occasional swash-like tails (notably in “f,” “j,” and “y”). Proportions are moderately tall with a steady x-height, and spacing reads slightly tight in text, creating a smooth, continuous rhythm.

This style performs best in magazine and editorial layouts, fashion or beauty branding, and other premium applications where a refined italic voice is desirable. It also suits headlines, pull quotes, and book-cover typography where high contrast and expressive movement can be shown at larger sizes.

The overall tone is polished and upscale, with a classic, editorial kind of drama. Its sharp contrast and fluid italic motion suggest sophistication and a sense of curated luxury rather than neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on classic high-contrast italics: crisp, elegant letterforms with a strong calligraphic slant and a display-minded level of contrast, while still remaining coherent across longer sample text.

Uppercase forms are stately and clean, while the lowercase carries more personality through curved joins and extended descenders. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with slender hairlines and stylized curves that feel suited to display settings as much as continuous reading.
