A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, vertical stress, and crisp hairline serifs. Capitals are stately and tightly drawn with fine, flat serifs and sharp transitions into thick stems, while round forms (O, Q, C) show a clear contrast between weighted sides and delicate top/bottom hairlines. Lowercase maintains a bookish rhythm with compact, sturdy stems and very thin cross-strokes; the two-storey g has a prominent ear and rounded bowl, and the italic-free, upright construction keeps counters open but controlled. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with elegant curves and thin joints that feel precise and carefully balanced.

Best suited to editorial design, fashion and beauty branding, and other premium contexts where high contrast and finesse are desirable. It excels in headlines, pull quotes, and display typography, and can work for body text when size and reproduction conditions preserve its fine hairlines.

The overall tone is poised and upscale, evoking contemporary magazine typography with a nod to classic Didone refinement. Its dramatic contrast and razor-thin details read as luxurious and formal, giving text a polished, high-end sheen rather than a casual or utilitarian voice.

The design appears intended to deliver modern, high-fashion elegance through strong vertical emphasis and delicate hairlines, creating a dramatic yet controlled reading texture. It balances classical proportions with a clean, contemporary sharpness to support premium editorial and branding applications.

In running text the thin horizontals and hairline serifs create a sparkling texture, especially in larger sizes, while the heavier verticals keep lines from feeling anemic. The design favors clean, straight-sided construction and sharp terminals, producing a crisp silhouette that looks particularly striking in headlines and short blocks.
