A compact, display-minded serif with strongly flared strokes and weighty, sculpted forms. Stems swell into broad, bracketed serif-like endings, creating a carved, chiseled rhythm rather than crisp hairline serifs. Curves are full and rounded, counters are moderately open, and joins feel soft and organic. The lowercase shows traditional proportions with a two-storey a, a single-storey g with a curled ear, and sturdy ascenders/descenders; the overall texture is dense and dark. Numerals include oldstyle figures with noticeable vertical modulation and distinctive, slightly calligraphic entry/exit strokes.

Best suited to headlines, short passages, and title typography where a dense, distinctive texture is an asset—such as posters, book and album covers, branding marks, and packaging. It can work for brief editorial callouts or pull quotes, but the dark color and flared detailing favor larger sizes and generous spacing.

The font reads as nostalgic and characterful, with a playful, slightly theatrical tone. Its flared endings and swelling strokes evoke poster-era display typography and storybook titling, giving text a warm, handcrafted presence.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, vintage-leaning display serif with a flared, sculptural stroke model—prioritizing personality and impact while keeping letterforms familiar enough for confident setting in short texts.

In running lines the heavy color and tight proportions create a strong horizontal banding, which can be impactful but may feel busy at small sizes. The ampersand and punctuation carry the same swollen, tapered logic, helping maintain a cohesive, expressive voice across mixed text.
