A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress and extremely fine hairlines against thick main stems. Serifs are sharp and delicate, with minimal bracketing, giving terminals a crisp, engraved feel. Proportions run broad with generous set widths and a strong baseline presence; round forms are smooth and open, while joins stay tight and clean. The lowercase shows a relatively modest x-height with tall ascenders and descenders, and the numerals follow the same dramatic thick–thin rhythm, reading especially striking at display sizes.

Best suited to display applications such as magazine mastheads, pull quotes, luxury branding, packaging, and posters where its contrast and fine details can be appreciated. It can work for short editorial passages when set large with comfortable tracking and leading, but it is most compelling for titles and high-impact typographic moments.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, evoking fashion publishing and high-end editorial typography. Its sharp contrast and airy hairlines communicate elegance and precision more than warmth, lending a sense of ceremony and polish to headlines.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-fashion interpretation of a classic high-contrast serif, prioritizing elegance, vertical emphasis, and crisp detailing for display use. Its wide proportions and sharp hairlines aim to create a confident, premium voice in editorial and branding contexts.

In the text sample, the extreme contrast creates a shimmering rhythm that rewards larger sizes and ample spacing; at smaller sizes the thinnest strokes may visually recede. The wide set and crisp serifs give capital-heavy lines a stately, poster-like presence.
