A bold, high-contrast serif with wedge-like, flared terminals and strongly bracketed serifs that feel carved rather than mechanically sharp. Stems often swell toward the ends, creating a rhythmic, slightly calligraphic modulation across the alphabet. Curves are generous and rounded, counters are relatively open, and several letters show subtle asymmetry and angled joins that add motion. The overall texture is dark and assertive, with lively silhouette changes from glyph to glyph (notably in the lower-case), giving the set a handcrafted, display-oriented presence.

Best suited to display sizes where its flared terminals, contrast, and distinctive silhouettes can be appreciated—headlines, titles, pull quotes, and short bursts of text. It can add character to branding, packaging, and editorial applications where a classic-but-expressive serif is desired; for long passages, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes with adequate spacing.

The tone reads classic and dramatic, with a theatrical, old-world flavor that suggests traditional print and storytelling. Its bold presence and flared endings add a slightly whimsical, expressive character—confident and attention-seeking without feeling harsh or industrial.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif construction through flared, wedge-like finishing and lively stroke modulation, prioritizing personality and visual rhythm over neutral text economy. It aims to deliver a bold, heritage-leaning voice that remains playful and highly legible in display settings.

The italicization is not present, but many glyphs show a mild, organic lean in their internal stress and terminal shaping, which keeps text from feeling rigid. Numerals appear lining and similarly weighty, matching the letterforms’ strong contrast and wedge-terminal language.
