A high-contrast serif with a pronounced italic slant and sculpted, calligraphic modulation. Stems move from very thick to hairline thins, with crisp bracketing into sharp, wedge-like serifs and terminals that often taper to fine points. The capitals are broad and stately with energetic curves (notably in round letters), while the lowercase maintains a conventional text rhythm and a moderate x-height, aided by sturdy verticals and lively entry/exit strokes. Numerals follow the same dramatic thick–thin pattern and show traditional, slightly old-style-like proportions, keeping the overall texture elegant but assertive.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine display typography, book covers, and prominent pull quotes where contrast and italic energy add hierarchy and voice. It can also support premium branding and packaging when used at comfortable sizes with ample spacing. For long passages, it will perform best when given generous leading and sufficient size to preserve the fine hairlines.

The font conveys a refined, editorial tone with a sense of drama and ceremony. Its strong contrast and italic movement feel confident and cultivated, suggesting heritage publishing and high-end presentation rather than utilitarian UI text. The overall impression is polished and expressive, with a distinctly literary flair.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-fashion serif voice with an emphatic italic character—combining traditional proportions with a more theatrical, high-contrast stroke treatment for impactful reading and display use.

In continuous text, the sharp hairlines and steep contrast create bright, sparkling counters and a rhythmic pattern of thick strokes; this lends impact at larger sizes but can become visually busy in dense settings. The italic forms are noticeably animated, with a forward-leaning cadence and pointed terminals that add emphasis in headlines and pull quotes.
