This typeface uses sharp blackletter forms with razor-like terminals, tight inner counters, and frequent broken or pinched joins that create a carved, blade-edged silhouette. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and an inked, hand-drawn irregularity, with occasional scratchy protrusions and tapering hooks that read like deliberate distress rather than clean geometry. Capitals are more elaborate and swashy, while the lowercase is compact with a short x-height and narrow, vertical rhythm; overall spacing feels tight and the color on the page is dense and textured.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, album or event graphics, game or film titles, and logo wordmarks where its spiky detail and dense texture can be appreciated. It also works for packaging, labels, and chapter openers that need a medieval or occult accent, especially at larger sizes with generous line spacing.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, evoking gothic ritual, medieval manuscript atmosphere, and horror or metal-poster energy. The roughened edges and spurs add aggression and unease, giving lines of text a sinister, incantatory feel.

The design appears intended to deliver a dramatic blackletter voice with a deliberately rough, hand-inked edge—prioritizing atmosphere and impact over neutral readability. Its condensed build and ornate capitals suggest a focus on headline presence and evocative branding.

In running text, the condensed proportions and intricate interior shapes can make long passages visually busy, while the larger, more ornamental capitals create strong emphasis and an old-world headline cadence. Numerals and punctuation carry the same sharp, calligraphic personality, helping mixed-content settings keep a consistent voice.
